Welcome to a new series made just for women. Recently, I have had a deep impression in my spirit to have a blog post series just for women. Every woman has a story, a journey, a becoming, a silent battle, a loud victory, a dream wrapped in faith and fear at the same time. There are so many things the world tries to tell a woman to be;
Strong , but not too strong,
Soft but not weak,
Ambitious but somehow still small
Healing, yet always expected to have it all together.
But before the noise, before the expectations before the comparisons she was something else first she was loved. And in all of this, SHE IS…… the woman God made.
This space, SHE IS, is for her. For the woman you are, the woman you were, and the woman you are becoming. This space is created for the woman who is learning to return to what God has always said about her. Not who culture and traditions named her, not who pain tried to shape her into, not even who her past whispers, she is. But the woman whom God made.
She is much more than her physical appearance
SHE IS Loved
Not because she earned it
Not because she always gets it right
But because God chose her
Days when love feels distant and life feels heavy sometimes the feeling of emptiness SHE IS reminded daily that the love of God doesn’t come and go with our feelings
”I have loved you with an everlasting love “- Jer 31:3
Everlasting means it doesn’t end, not on her worst day, not in her waiting season, not in her breaking moment.
SHE IS Becoming
Becoming can be uncomfortable. It’s the in-between place, not who she was, not yet who she’s meant to be. It’s the in-between place, not who she was, not yet who she’s meant to be.
Some days she feels confident, other days she questions everything. That doesn’t mean she’s failing it means God is working.
” He who began a good walk in you will carry it on to completion” Phill 1:6
Growth sometimes doesn’t always look or feel graceful; most times, it looks like unlearning, surrendering and starting over.
SHE IS More Than Her Season
Seasons matter, but they do not define her worth. So, whether she is single, married, waiting, mothering, healing, working, resting, or rebuilding, her value is not dependent on how perfect these seasons appear. She was already valuable before the answered prayers.
SHE IS Strong
Strength is getting up again, it is trusting God, even with tears in her eyes. God never asked her to be perfect.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness” – 2 Corinth 12:9
SHE IS Not Alone
One thing I have observed is that most women carry this “I have to handle everything on my own.” The truth is, you were never meant to. This common myth is taught to women from one generation, passed down to the other as it is perceived to be a strength, but it isn’t.
This space exists to remind her that life is better when it is shared. The joys, questions, faith, healing, growth and becoming. This is a community for women; this is sisterhood.
SHE IS is a community for honest conversations, meaningful connections, and women walking together with intention, grounded in God’s Word, growing in grace, making an impact, and supporting one another along the way.
Because she is still becoming
Because she is deeply loved
Because she is the woman God made
