Love Letter to God - I’m Your Baby | Margaret Ogunde

Dear God,

I don’t always know how to start this, so I start with You.
You who saw me before I had a name,
You knew my beginning and still chose me.

I’ve been broken in places I didn’t talk about,
Tired in ways nobody could see,
But You still held me like I mattered.

And somehow, You still call me Yours.

So I’m writing this not as someone perfect,
But as someone Yours.

I’m Your baby, not because I have earned it,
Not because I’ve done everything right,
But because Your love decided it first.

When I don’t have the right words,
You still understand my silence.

When I feel far, You stay close.
When I fall apart, You don’t let go.

Teach me how to trust You more.
Teach me how to love You better.
Teach me how to rest in knowing I am safe with You.

Because sometimes I forget
That I don’t have to carry everything alone.

So here I am again…

Open hands, open heart.
All I want is You.

Not just Your blessings.
Not just Your help.
But You.

Hold me close when I’m unsure.
Correct me when I wander.
And remind me always that I belong to You.

Forever,

Your baby.

Ephesians 1:4-5
“He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world… He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ.”
