Full Poem:
It begins with an encounter
a soft voice called to me,
It lifted my head and showed me the sky,
And reminded me: I was made to fly.

It began with that encounter
grace called my name,
Redeemed my broken feathers,
And taught me to rise above the storms,
To look at mountains as stepping stones.

He called my name.
Not in judgment, not in shame,
But in love so fierce, it burned away the guilt,
In mercy so vast, it silenced every voice of condemnation.

He called my name
Not to crawl in the shadows of doubt,
Not to stumble under the weight of fear,
But to rise on wings of purpose,
To break through the clouds of limitation.

Now I soar.
Above the ceilings of self-doubt,
Through the skies of limitless potential.
Redeemed to rise,
To claim the skies that were always mine.

Limitations?
They are mere shadows,
Fading in the light of redemption.

I am the redeemed.
Not because of what I have done,
But because of what He has done for me.
He took my ashes and gave me beauty,
Took my mourning and gave me joy,
Took my rags and robed me in righteousness.

The redeemed walk not in perfection,
But in grace that covers every imperfection.
We stumble, but we rise.
We fall, but we are held.

We are not defined by the scars of our past,
But by the love that heals them.

So, hear this, world:
We are the redeemed, unshackled and free,
No longer slaves to fear or sin.
We walk boldly, not in who we are,
But in who He is—
Our Savior, our Redeemer, our King.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,
For we are proof that hope is alive,
That grace has no limits,
That redemption is real.

We are the redeemed.

We are redeemed—

No longer bound by what we’ve done,
No longer trapped by where we’ve been.
We have been set free,
To embrace the skies,
To conquer the winds,
To soar above every obstacle that said I couldn’t.

The storms may rage, but they won’t break us
The winds may howl, but they will lift us higher.
For we’ve learned that the trials beneath me
Are what strengthen the wings within me.

We are born to soar—
Not for my own glory,
But for the One who gave me flight.
Redeemed by grace,
Carried by faith,

Rising in power, unshaken by fear.

So, I will soar.
Above the pain, the doubt, the past.
I will soar.
Because I was redeemed for this—
To rise, to thrive,
To touch the heavens and never look back.

I was redeemed to rise.

Limitations? They were lies spoken in fear,
Whispers of doubt meant to keep me grounded.
But grace stepped in and shattered the chains,
Faith breathed life into weary wings,
And I began to see:
We were made for more.

No longer will I crawl beneath the weight of impossible,
No longer will I bend to the pressure of never.
I was born to break through,
To rise above every wall,
Every doubt, every fear,
Every label they tried to place on me.

For my strength is not my own,
It’s from the One who called me higher.
He took my failures and built stepping stones,
Turned my scars into wings,
And said, Fly.

Now I soar above limitations.
Not because I am flawless,
But because I am redeemed.
Not because I am fearless,

But because I am free.

Above the shadows of my past,
Above the lies of “not enough,”
Above the doubts that tried to anchor me,
I rise, unshaken, unstoppable.

For I was redeemed for this—
To live, to thrive,
To soar above every limitation
And never look back.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!
Not in whispers, not in silence,
But with voices loud, hearts ablaze,
Declare the truth that set us free.

Once, we were lost—
Chained by shame, burdened by sin,

Wandering in valleys of despair,
But then came the voice of redemption,
Calling us higher, calling us home.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!
We are not who we used to be.
He took our brokenness, made it whole,
Exchanged our ashes for beauty untold.
Grace rewrote the story,
And mercy paved the way.

We’ve been lifted, restored, renewed,
No longer bound by what held us before.
Fear has no claim,
Shame has no voice,
Sin has no power,
For we have been redeemed!

So, let us rise and proclaim:
We are living proof of His goodness,
A reflection of love unending,

A testimony of chains broken,
And lives transformed.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!
Shout it from the mountains,
Declare it in the valleys,
Sing it in the face of the storm:
We are free!
Free to hope, free to dream,
Free to soar above every limitation.

We are the redeemed,
And we will not be silent.
For our Redeemer lives,
And His light shines through us.
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,

For we are proof that hope is alive,
That grace has no limits,
That redemption is real.

We are the redeemed.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!
This is the year I rise,
Breaking through every barrier,
Tearing down the walls that kept me small,
For I am strengthened, empowered,
And filled with courage through Christ my King.

This year, I will soar,

Mounting up with wings like an eagle,
For my strength is not my own,
It is renewed daily in Christ Jesus.

What limits others will not limit me,
What hinders them will not hold me back.
For I walk in redemption,
Set free by the power of His love.

This year, I cast off doubt,
Shake loose the grip of fear,
And silence every negative thought.
I embrace abundance, breakthrough, and success—
A mindset of victory and fulfillment.

If it cannot stop Christ, it cannot stop me!
For I am raised with Him,
Seated in heavenly places,
Far above principalities, powers, and limitations.

This year, I will achieve the extraordinary,
Step into the fullness of my potential.
Limitless, unstoppable,
I soar towards my highest possibilities,
Redeemed, empowered, and free!

This is my declaration:
2025 is my year to rise above every limitation,
To live redeemed,
To soar where others said I couldn’t,
To walk boldly in my calling,
For I am redeemed to soar.
